In August, I was interviewed in the Oxford Road studios by Mike Sadler of the BBC for BBC Manchester Website. A condensed write up of this interview and also some information about the Surreal City exhibition at the Portico Library & Gallery is on the BBC website here. I was surprised by the write up because in it I refer to myself as an impressionist but I actually said expressionist, so I’m guessing he misheard me. The adjoining picture was taken by Mike Sadler outside the studio in front of the iconic Refuge Assurance Building designed by Alfred Waterhouse.
