After passing the selection process, I can now say I will be showing and offering for sale a new painting of a scene in Stockport, The Crown Inn at Night (40x50cm Acrylic on board) at the Stockport Open Contemporary Exhibition 2013. The painting is of a well known pub located under the iconic Stockport Viaduct. It’s a fine traditional pub with live folk music Sunday nights and I’d recommend a visit. It still has characterful, preserved interior though I do think it would look better with a print of this painting on the walls along with the other artworks there! Easily procurable as after I painted it, I had this particular work professionally photographed by Klein Imaging and it is now available as a signed, limited edtion of only 25 Giclée print. The show is at Stockport Art Gallery, Wellington Road South, Stockport, SK3 8AB and runs from 27th July to 31st August 2013.
