Last October, I was glad to hear that I had been shortlisted for the ‘Lux Life 2nd annual Creative and Visual Arts Awards 2025’, under the category ‘Best Contemporary Urban Landscape Artist 2025 (England)’ The competition was organised by Lux Life magazine, an online lifestyle Magazine produced by AI Global Media Ltd. The judges cited the reason for my work being shortlisted as being ‘a unique approach to traditional painting in a contemporary context making this work award-worthy.’ A few months later, I was even more glad to hear I’d actually won the competition and been awarded first prize in this category!
